Tutorial: Procreate Candy Cane 3D Lettering Tutorial – Shoutbam!

We were asked to design a holiday-themed postcard for a renowned greeting card company in the brief. The aim was to create a card that spreads joy among recipients during the festive season and was meant to be sent as heartwarming wishes to loved ones.

The Creative Direction was to communicate a festive cheer while maintaining readability.

I loved this look created by Jimbo from Shoutbam!, and wanted to learn how to apply this technique for a long time. I figured out that this fitted in with the brief and theme perfectly! What communicates festive cheer more than candy canes? I liked the design so much that this was the Christmas Postcard I sent to all my family and friends last year.
