CLIENT: Personal Project

This personal project aimed to combine lettering and illustration and learn how to animate the artwork in Adobe After Effects. I used a simple color palette of grey and mustard yellow (one of my favorite colors). This is a great color combination because the grey makes the yellow shine!
The quote resonates with me, and I aspire to apply it in my own life.
I drew the artwork in Procreate and exported it to Photoshop to maintain the different layers. Afterward, I animated everything using the techniques described in Jake Bartlett’s Hand Lettering in Motion course on SkillShare (see button). This was the first time I animated my lettering, and it’s something I want to explore further in the future. This introduction tastes of more.
