Here you can find all the entries I created for the 2022 lettering style challenge. Throughout October, a large group of lettering enthusiasts and creatives, including me, created and posted a new piece of lettering every day on Instagram, following the list below.

The goal of this challenge was to improve our lettering skills and discover our unique, distinctive lettering style.
Use your preferred medium to create a lettering piece each day for 31 days, starting on October 1st. The only restriction was to follow the provided list of prompts. Aurelie designed these prompts to spark our creativity.
For this year’s challenge, I chose a theme centered around fruit. My goal was to create entries so tempting that people would rush to the store to buy them. To achieve this, I designed a large, vibrant logo featuring the first letter of each fruit’s name to grab attention, along with the fruit’s name and an accompanying illustration.
This challenge wasn’t just about creating a bunch of beautiful lettering pieces for my portfolio, but about establishing a standard work process and setting boundaries and restrictions to meet the daily deadline. I had tons of fun, and I learned a bunch of new styles and tricks in Procreate. It also helped me discover my style and what I am drawn to, and that my style is not always suitable for a fast-paced challenge like this. I love elaborate, detailed letterforms with a ton of letter treatment and illustrations.
